Video Evidence: Proof or Assumption
- Understand how to acquire various types of video evidence, proper workflow in collecting and analyzing video evidence, and the effectiveness of video evidence for different types of investigations.
Instructional Delivery Method: Group Internet Based
CPE Credits: Attendees may be eligible to receive up to 3.4 CPE credits in Specialized Knowledge.

The training will be held on WebEx from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM (Central Time)/9:30 AM -1:00 PM (Eastern Time)/6:30 AM-10:00 AM (Pacific Time).

Kathryn Richards
Inspector General at IL Chicago Housing Authority OIGKathryn Richards was appointed as Inspector General for the Chicago Housing Authority by the CHA Board of Commissioners in April 2021. Richards is a Certified Inspector General through the Association of Inspectors General and a licensed attorney. Prior to CHA, Richards spent 10 years as the Chief Assistant Inspector General for the City of Chicago OIG. In that role, she provided strategic guidance and legal counsel on all OIG activities, including investigations, audits, and reviews. Richards also serves as Board President of the Illinois Chapter of the Association of Inspectors General, which provides training in professional best practices for all Illinois IG agencies. She previously served as a staff attorney with the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Richards holds a B.A. in Political Science from New York University and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude with a certificate in public interest law.

Forensic Investigator at 4DiscoveryJoseph Minone-Shadwick is a Forensic Investigator at 4Discovery. He specializes in digital forensics, e-discovery, and incident response. He is experienced in key term analysis, mobile and host-based computer forensics, and working with the legal community and private sector. In addition, he is experienced in leading digital forensics and eDiscovery projects. Joseph has over three years of experience in computer forensics and electronic discovery matters. Joseph has been retained as an expert in over 100 cases. He has worked on a wide variety of matters involving, but not limited to trade secret theft, accidents, employee misconduct, divorce, and fraud. Joseph possesses multiple Degrees and completed an extensive Cybersecurity Bootcamp at the University of Miami in 2021.

Scott Alan Video, LLCScott Kuntz is a 28-year Deputy Sheriff with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office in Madison, WI. He is responsible for forensic video/audio/image evidence analysis, homicide documentation, search warrant execution, covert surveillance, and oversight of a large-scale CCTV system in the Dane County Jail and Courthouse buildings. Scott is also owner of Scott Alan Video, LLC, a consulting, training, system design and forensic video analysis company. He is a LEVA (Law Enforcement & Emergency Services Video Association Int’l) Certified Forensic Video Analyst, an IAI (International Association for Identification) Certified Forensic Video Examiner and a member of NATIA (National Technical Investigators Association). He has been a technology consultant for IACP and NIJ. Scott is a former adjunct instructor of video evidence and ethics courses at Madison College in Madison, WI and Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI. Scott is an instructor of Digital Multimedia Evidence Processing and Forensic Video Analysis & the Law courses for LEVA. Scott has taught these courses in the United States, Canada, The U.K., Sweden, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Oman.
