The Association of Inspectors General (AIG) Western States Chapter Training is a 6.5-hour webinar program, presented virtually via Webex on April 11, 2025, from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Pacific time. The topics will focus on Cybersecurity, Open-Source Intelligence, and Technology. This online training will provide oversight professionals tools for obtaining criminal and civil evidence from computers, smartphones and smart devices; and actionable intelligence from publicly available sources such as the dark web and social media. It will outline simple solutions for OIGs to develop a secure network for their files and email communications when they face funding limitations.
