The AIG Florida Chapter presents a live webinar: "Inspectors General – Working with the United States Attorney's Office." This two hour training will be presented by Corey Aittama, Law Enforcement Coordinator for the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Florida, and Justin Keen, Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida. This training is FREE for all AIG Florida Chapter Members!
Learning Objectives:
- Introduction to United States Attorney's Office
- Understand the role of the United States Attorney's Office's law enforcement coordinator
- Understand the law enforcement coordinator's role as a liaison between the United States Attorney's Office and state/local law enforcement agencies, as well as the inspector general community
- Understand current Department of Justice initiatives and their various grant making divisions
- Primer on common federal fraud statutes (compared to Florida statutes)
- Comparison of federal and Florida criminal justice systems
CPE Credits: Up to 2 CPE Credits (Attendance and attentiveness are monitored by WebEx programming and through polling questions presented randomly during the event.)

Speakers
Justin Keen
Assistant United States Attorney
Justin Keen has served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida since October 2018. Justin also serves as the district’s Elder Justice Coordinator and Coronavirus Fraud Coordinator. Prior to becoming a federal prosecutor, Justin served as an Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s 18th Judicial Circuit (covering Brevard and Seminole counties) for over 12 years. During his last few years as a state prosecutor, Justin was the Division Chief of the Brevard County Economic Crimes and Elder Services Unit where he prosecuted organized fraud, money laundering, racketeering, and elder exploitation cases. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of South Florida and also graduated from the Florida State University College of Law.
