The Association of Inspectors General presents its Certified Inspector General Auditor® Institute certification program. Participants receive instruction from highly qualified instructors in core competency areas identified by the Association's Board of Directors and Professional Certification Board. The Association awards the designation of Certified Inspector General Auditor® to individuals who successfully complete the certification programs.
The Association has identified ten broad areas of core competency for inspectors general auditors. The Institute program's five-day curriculum covers the following core competency areas:

The Association of Inspectors General is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. This ticket/rate is available to AIG National or AIG National + Chapter Members accepted into the Institute program.
Tuition Payment - upon acceptance an invoice will be generated and sent to the admitted student for remittance. Full payment is required prior to the commencement of the course.

This ticket/rate is available to non-members or those holding "chapter-only" memberships accepted to the Institute program.

Non-member and Chapter-Only attendees receive a complimentary National Membership upon the successful completion of an Institute Program:
Winter (March) Attendees will receive a complimentary National membership through June 30th of the year following completion of the program.
Summer (August) Attendees will receive a complimentary National membership for the remainder of the membership period (June 30th of the year following completion of their program.)

The Hyatt Regency Columbus is the official hotel for the August 2025 Institute. It is located in downtown Columbus, in close proximity to many dining and entertainment options. Institute classes will be held within the Hyatt Regency, making it as convenient as possible for attendees. The AIG has secured a room block for attendees, but space is limited, so please book as soon as possible.
