The Association of Inspectors General Illinois Chapter presents its Fall 2022 Training! The training will include an introduction to the Pandemic Response and Accountability Committee (PRAC) and a 2-hour presentation on writing for your audience, clear and concise documents for your colleagues. The training will be held on WebEx from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM (Central Time)/9:30 AM -1:30 PM (Eastern Time)/6:30 AM-10:30 AM (Pacific Time).
Session Overview and Learning Objectives
Introduction to the Pandemic Response and Accountability Committee
Attendees will learn about the mission and role of PRAC, common pandemic relief fraud schemes, and opportunities for partnership with PRAC for criminal prosecution.
Writing For Your Audience: Clear and Concise Documents For Your Colleagues
This training will cover the use of plain language in professional writing. Participants will gain information on writing clearly and concisely for clients and colleagues. Participants will also learn about document design and how to make your text appear clearer and more credible; advanced editing strategies; inclusive pronouns; and organization in written documents.
Instructional Delivery Method: Group Internet Based
CPE Credits: Attendees may be eligible to receive up to 3.4 CPE credits.
